Produced with grapes from the Gibalbín vineyard in Jerez Superior. Grapes are harvested at night to preserve the fruit flavours and acidity and undergo cold maceration before cool fermentation in temperature controlled, stainless steel tanks.
Bodegas Barbadillo were established in 1821. In 1827 it became the first company to bottle Manzanilla sherry. In addition to being notable producers of sherries, they pioneered the production of red wine in Southern Spain and have expanded to produce wine in the Ribera del Duero and Somontano D.O.'s
