Cherries, redcurrant and plum. There are touches of cloves, vanilla and star anise. Bodegas Perica Reserva "OLAGOSA" is a lovely approachable Rioja, the balance of fruit, oak and acidity is really refreshing considering the Riojan wines on the UK market are either fruit bombs or over oaked and the pricing is rarely in-line with the quality.
This wine is best paired with lamb or beef but we also love a glass of this on its own.
