Guillaume Guiton is based in Bligny-lès-Beaune, which is located on the other side of the RN74 from Volnay. Guillaume keeps things simple by producing really lovely Pinots with refined tannins and bright red fruits. He never overworks the wines, preferring to let their natural character shine through, resulting in excellent village definition across the board. Guillaume's Bourgogne is a bargain in Burgundy, and he manages to infuse sophisticated tannins into both his Pernand Vergelesses and his Pommard - no small feat.
