La Bota de Florpower is a non-fortified white wine, therefore unlike most typical Andalusian fortified wines, it does not contain any additional alcohol. This wine is produced with grapes of the Palomino variety from Sanlucar de Barrameda's Miraflores La Baja plot. The grapes ferment in the same vats where the yeast cap subsequently develops.
The resulting wine then spends around a year in a stainless steel tank generating a more subdued yeast cap effect before being bottled. The biological maturing process for the wine lasts for 8 months under this yeast cap.
