This dry Amontillado has an average age above 30 years and comes from a Solera that was started in 1857. The name Del Duque refers to the Duke of Medinaceli who started the Solera with 16 barrels.
Only the best wines will make the cut to become an Amontillado.
On the nose you could be lead to believe that this is a sweet sherry but it is in fact bone dry and nutty.
