An impressive blend of eight parcels from Swartland. Some people describe this as a Rhone style blend but we feel that too often wine critics and buyers relate wines to the old world regions when actually these wines deserve to be rated as their own styles. Plus at what point as Tinta Barocca (a Portuguese grape) been considered part of a Rhone blend? Anyway, rant over.
