Two vineyards are harvested for this wine; one with a field blend of Tinta Roriz and Jaen and another with a similarly co-planted blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Baga. The vines are Guyot trained.

The grapes are direct pressed and free run juice is fermented slowly, using a Pied de Cuve in temperature controlled, stainless steel tanks.
