Grown on granite soils on foothills near the city of Lyon. The grapes are hand picked deliberately early to maintain freshness. In the wine is made in the traditional way of carbonic maceration (fermentation starts
by the weight of berries piled into the vat which crush those underneath) followed by leaving the juice in contact with the skins and pips to maintain all that red fruit character.
