Tart and zippy with lovely rhubarb scented aromatics. With some fresh strawberry and sea breeze character on the palate, this wine is very refreshing and juicy.
Grapes macerate for eight to ten hours on the skins before a light pressing takes place to obtain aromatic intensity before being fermented at a controlled temperature. It is rested on its lees before bottling.
The Txomin Etxaniz winery is located in the village of Getara. The family’s relationship with the world of wine goes back to 1649. The creation of D.O. Txakolina in 1989, it was largely led by this same winery.
