This is a full-bodied, rich, concentrated wine with intense aromas of dark fruit and plums. On the palate, there are more bramble fruits, as well as vanilla, wood, and soft fruity notes.
Vins Del Comtat was established in 1997 in Concentaina, Alicante's El Comtat region. 'M' is made from 100% Monastrell grapes from 40-year-old vines from various small vineyards in Alicante's mountains. The wine is aged in a combination of new French and American oak for 6 months before being bottled for a minimum of 12 months.
